Description
Woman’s umbrella or ‘Royal Drooko’ umbrella with black silk cover with elastic fastener and button to hold closed. Japanned metal ribs and metal stretcher inscribed ‘Royal Drooko – Joseph Wright’, cane stick, wooden spike and brass ferrule. Straight, tapered handle with collar and tip in gilt embossed metal and middle section in mother of pearl inscribed 'Mrs A G E Miller, Paisley'. Purple corded silk with tassel tied around stick. Stick later reinforced with metal band inscribed ‘Dido, Glasgow’.
